Violence in Relationships: Myths and Realities is an awareness-raising booklet developed within the framework of the transnational project Youth4Youth: Empowering Young People in Preventing Gender-based Violence through Peer Education.
The aim of the booklet is to raise awareness among young people on gender based violence (GBV). The booklet includes information on gender and gender roles and stereotypes, forms of GBV, myths and realities concerning GBV, the extent of GBV worldwide, the role of men and boys in combating GBV, as well as information on resources and services.
The booklet has been written for adolescents and young people, youth/student organisations, NGOs working on gender-based violence, as well as teachers working in formal and non-formal education.
The manual is available in English, Greek (Greek edition), Greek (Cyprus edition), Italian, Lithuanian, and Spanish.
