The European Protection Order as a means of protecting victims of gender-based violence A transnational seminar aimed at Civil Society Organizations’ staff 13 JULY 2021 ~ 09:30-15:30 (CET) ~ ONLINE

The aim of the webinar is to increase awareness and promote improved knowledge on the EC Directive 2011/99/EU and the European Protection Order (EPO) as an important instrument in providing continued protection for victims of violence, stalking and other forms of abuse anywhere within the EU.

Topics to be covered:

◾Legal framework and protection measures available for victims of gender-based violence. The EC Directive 2011/99/EU and the role of support services in supporting victims’ access to protection orders and the EPO.

◾Promising practices at a national and EU level that can be adapted to strengthen the role of victim support services in the effective implementation of the EPO.

This webinar is open to the public and to professionals working in the area of gender-based violence.
