The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies and the EuroMed Human Rights Network invite you to a webinar bringing together civil society organisations across the region to discuss and reflect on the different manifestations of resistance and contestation to women’s rights in the Euro-Mediterranean Region. Many of the hard-won victories for women, particularly in the area of sexual and reproductive rights, and violence against women and girls are at risk. The COVID pandemic and measures taken by some states in response, have only worsened the situation.
This event aims to encourage dialogue with between civil society actors and experts in the region with policy makers with a view to building synergies for advocacy and social change in the region.
The event will take place with simultaneous translation in English/French/Arabic.
